Self-host / P2P Sync

Hello! It would be great to be able to self-host a Luma sync server. Privacy and data sovereignty is very important in the Linux community, and I think Luma would really shoot itself in the foot if it didn't provide something like that.
It could either be done by literally self-hosting the sync server, but it would also be nice to be able to connect two deices without a sync server and just make it peer-to-peer, similar to how KDE connect works. That wouldn't allow it to function over an internet connection without a sync server, but at least people could sync things up when on the same network.
I agree, this is a common request and it is in the works. We know most tech-folks will want control over it. Likely next week!
Wow, single person dev teams hold themselves to insane timelines. I was thinking like "next year" sometime :)
