GitHub #38 phosh (handheld): `font-weight: 650` is rejected by GTK3, phosh's css test aborts
Summary
After patches/phosh/0016-luma-shared-search-client.patch, src/stylesheet/common.css contains font-weight: 650 three times (.luma-search-result-title and two more rules, lines 568, 984 and 1037 in the patched tree). GTK3 only accepts CSS font weights in steps of 100, and patches/gtk3/ does not change that, so on the device too:
- the declarations are dropped (the titles are not semibold),
- every phosh start logs
Theme parsing error: common.css:568:82: unknown value for property(plus 984:15 and 1037:15), - phosh's own
meson test cssaborts (SIGABRT) on the patched tree (35/36 unit tests pass, cssfails).
Reproduce
Phosh 0254669f + patches/phosh/0001–0018, meson test -C _build css under xvfb-run, Fedora 44 aarch64 (gtk3 3.24.52).
Suggested fix
Use 600 (semibold) in those three rules. With that change the css test passes (36/36) and the journal has no theme parsing errors at startup.
Found while building Luma from source on a Fedora 44 aarch64 VM (Luma's FP6 twin setup).
