Hold the paste shortcut a beat longer and get the last fifty things you copied, searchable, with images.
I copy a dozen things an hour: a phone number, a hex color, a paragraph I moved. Losing the one before last is the small daily tax every system charges.
Hold the paste key for half a second and a small list appears. Type to filter. Images and files show as thumbnails. Nothing leaves the machine; it is a list in memory with an optional pinned set on disk.

Please include colors as swatches in the list, not just the hex string. Half of what I copy all day is a color.

Marking this planned. The fifty-item cap and the local-only rule are both part of the plan; anything that syncs the clipboard between devices is a separate idea and would need its own permission prompt.
