#4821Wi-Fi drops after resume from sleep on Intel AX211
In progressHighNetworking · reported by Kofi Mensah
After the lid opens, the network list is empty for ten to twenty seconds, then recovers.
Workaround. Toggle airplane mode off and on after the lid opens; the network list comes back in about two seconds instead of twenty.
Steps to reproduce
- Close the lid on a machine with the AX211 card.
- Wait a minute.
- Open the lid; note the empty network list.

Fix Wi-Fi after resume on Intel AX211
BugThe most-voted bug of the quarter. Twenty seconds of nothing after every lid open.

Same on a Framework 13 with the AX211. Twenty seconds almost exactly, every time.
Confirmed. The firmware wants a full reset after resume and we were asking for a warm one. The 1.4.2 stopgap forces the reset; the real fix teaches the driver to do it right.
Marked affects me. The airplane mode trick works in the meantime, thank you.
